The Haven Detox was wonderful. Clean, safe and orderly. The day is structured and built to accomplish healing and recovery. The staff is very polite and caring. As far as the counseling, the trauma therapist is exponential at her skills. As a vet, her EMDR sessions were extremely helpful.

This facility is very nice and they are very veteran friendly. The classes were helpful and the staff is kind and caring. The food was pretty good and they do a great job of making sure you get your medication on time. I would highly recommend

I’m a disabled Army veteran given an opportunity by the Veterans Administration to work on myself and my PTSD and addiction issues. Amazing facility, all the staff are very caring and attentive. The therapy and activities are well organized and very beneficial. I recommend this program for anyone tired of trying to do it on your own.

More Details on the Veterans Program

Will I be judged for needing help?

No. You won’t be judged, questioned, or dismissed. Asking for help takes strength. Many veterans have walked through these doors with the same fears—and found respect, understanding, and healing instead.

Is this treatment only for PTSD?

No. While PTSD is common among veterans, it’s not the only struggle that service members face. Anxiety, depression, substance use, chronic stress, and even feelings of emptiness can be just as heavy. Our program is designed to treat you as a person, not just a diagnosis.

Is this a locked-down facility?

No. This isn’t a hospital ward or a detention center. It’s a safe, structured, and supportive environment where you’ll have privacy, comfort, and the freedom to focus on healing.

What if I’ve already tried treatment and it didn’t work?

Many veterans here have been through multiple programs before. This isn’t cookie-cutter care — it’s tailored to your unique story, your service history, and what hasn’t worked in the past. Many find success here after multiple attempts elsewhere.

Is this for active-duty or only veterans?

Both. Whether you’re currently serving, transitioning out, or years into civilian life, this program was built to support you. No matter what stage you’re in, your service is honored, and your struggles are taken seriously.

How quickly can I get admitted?

Often within 24 hours. Once your benefits are verified and you’re ready, we move fast to secure your spot. We know when you reach out, it usually means you need help now.

{{insurance-name}} Insurance Covers Treatment Here (Up to 100%)

Checking your insurance is private and without commitment.

There’s no catch. Checking your insurance is simply a way to see what your plan covers — it doesn’t lock you into treatment, notify anyone, or cost you anything. You get answers upfront to decide what makes sense for you.

Protecting your privacy matters! No information or notifications are ever sent to your employer or family — whether you check your insurance online or call. Everything is handled through secure, encrypted systems that meet strict medical privacy laws. You stay in control of your information!

Luckily, most insurance policies cover treatment here. Depending on the healthcare you’ve already had this year, costs could even be zero. Instead of worrying, let’s just find out what your plan covers.

Most likely. We work with major providers like Cigna, Aetna, and United Healthcare, public insurances like Tricare and tribal plans, and even smaller plans like Surest Bind and Harvard Pilgrim. The quickest way to know for sure is to check online or call. It’s a quick, private way to understand what is covered upfront.

Verifying your insurance isn’t a commitment to start treatment — it’s simply a way to see what your options are. Knowing your coverage ahead of time helps you make more informed, confident decisions. It also helps flag a spot, so you’re able to get right in if you ever do decide you’re ready.

You need your policy number to check your specific policy online. If you want general information, just call.  You likely have questions beyond insurance anyway. Reaching out now helps you figure out the right fit if or when you’re ready. You don’t have to put off the call until you’re in crisis. Calling is not scary, I promise!
