The Haven Detox is Named No. 1 Best Addiction Treatment Center by Newsweek

The Haven Detox in Little Rock ranks first in the South on Newsweek’s 2026 list for excellence in addiction treatment and mental health services.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Aug. 13, 2026

The Haven Detox Central Arkansas Mental Health and Addiction Rehab is named the No. 1 addiction treatment center in the South in the 2026 America’s Best Residential Addiction Treatment Centers Ranking from Newsweek and Statista. The Little Rock facility earned the top regional placement.

“Being ranked No. 1 is an honor because it reflects the hard work our team does every day, many of whom have lived experience, to make everyone feel seen and heard,” said Tiffany Terry, executive director at The Haven Detox Central Arkansas. “People come to us at their most vulnerable time and it’s our responsibility to meet them with compassion and empower them with the tools they need to begin moving forward.”

The Haven Detox Central Arkansas provides medically supported detoxification, residential treatment and ongoing alumni support for people with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

“Effective treatment has to address more than the immediate effects of substance use,” said Dr. Jason Talburt, medical director of The Haven Detox Central Arkansas. “Our focus is on helping each patient stabilize safely and then providing care that addresses the medical, behavioral and mental health factors that can be part of recovery.”

Newsweek and Statista evaluated 440 treatment centers using a national survey of addiction treatment professionals; Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration data on facility credentials and care services; and volume-weighted patient experience data from major review platforms.

The Haven Detox Central Arkansas is licensed by the Arkansas Department of Human Services and accredited by The Joint Commission for Behavioral Health Care and Human Services. The facility accepts Medicaid, VA Community Care Network and major commercial insurance to help keep care accessible to more people.
